- Â 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experience managing equipment operators or operating equipment directlyÂ
- Certificate/Licensure:Â
- Valid driver's license
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Â Â
- Daily supervision of all shift operations
- Daily coordination and communication with company management and mill representatives
- Training and supervision of all shift project staff
- Responsible for monitoring and enforcing all company safety policies and procedures.
- Continuously develop beneficial relationships with outside parties including customers, vendors, suppliers, and equipment related accounts
- Constantly coordinate with internal and external parties as required to efficiently and effectively meet the project goals
- Complete and submit any and all measurables and/or reports as required
- Represent the company in a professional, organized, and confident manner
- Coordinate with, and disseminate information to, internal staff, client representatives, farmers, landowners, and regulatory agency personnel as required to successfully fulfill the companies contract obligations
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a drug test.

- General knowledge of the principles, practices and processes including current Federal and State laws, statutes, regulations, policies.

- Ability to work constructively with vendors and customers.
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications; skill in gathering, analyzing and evaluating data. Â

- Generally, the employee filling this position will be expected to be present at the project location for a 12-hour rotating shift and/or as directed by the Project Manager. May work extended hours including weekends and holidays.
- Job functions will be carried out in a vast array of environments including but not limited to maintenance facilities, job sites, customer facilities, vehicles, agricultural sites, landfills, end user facilities, etc.
- The workplace is in a smoke-free environment. Â
- PPE is required and must be worn as instructed.Â
- Must adhere to all safety requirements.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:Â
- Assist with managing project operations:
- Ensure staff are properly trained and capable of completing assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure staff have the necessary equipment and supplies to complete the required tasks efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain a high level of cleanliness at the mill, on roadways and at all field sites.
- Ensure the equipment is constantly cleaned and maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor project efficiencies to meet assigned goals.
- Maintain project operational database and distribute reports and information as required.
- Monitor and ensure that project operations comply with all applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, customers, vendors, and the public.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBIITIES:Â
- All project level employees report directly to the Project Manager.
- The Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager with supervisory responsibilities as directed.
