BDC / Customer Service Representative – McGrath Family of Dealerships

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Schedule: Full-Time

This role is ideal for someone with prior customer service, receptionist, call center, or inside sales experience who enjoys building relationships, managing high call volumes, and being the first point of contact for customers.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone, text, email, chat, and web inquiries

• Handle inbound sales and service calls with professionalism and efficiency

• Build rapport with customers and schedule appointments for sales and service teams

• Provide accurate information on vehicles, services, promotions, and maintenance programs

• Present initial financing or payment options based on customer needs

• Maintain detailed and accurate notes in the CRM system

• Follow up with customers to ensure a seamless and positive experience

• Work closely with the BDC, sales, and service teams to meet performance goals

What We’re Looking For

• Prior customer service, receptionist, call center, or BDC experience preferred

• Strong phone presence with clear, confident, and professional communication

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable using CRM systems and learning new technology quickly

• Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail

• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented mindset

• Punctual, professional, and committed to high customer service standards
