Marketing Coordinator

Skogman Companies is seeking a hands-on Marketing Coordinator who will play a key role in supporting and executing day-to-day marketing efforts across their family of companies—including real estate, homebuilding, insurance, and remodeling.


This role is ideal for a process-driven, detail-oriented executor who enjoys turning ideas into action by executing marketing plans and keeping projects moving forward. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to support content creation, digital updates, campaign execution, and overall coordination across multiple brands.


This is a hands-on role where no two days look the same—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting a team across a variety of marketing disciplines.


What You’ll Do

  • Marketing Execution & Coordination
    • Support the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives across multiple divisions
    • Coordinate timelines, tasks, and deliverables to keep projects moving forward
    • Schedule and organize content creation efforts (photography, video, etc.)
    • Assist in preparing and distributing marketing materials (print and digital)
  • Content & Digital Support
    • Assist with creating and scheduling social media content (graphics, captions, posts)
    • Support writing and editing content for websites, blogs, and email campaigns
    • Update and maintain marketing templates and branded materials
  • Website & Content Updates
    • Make updates to website pages, listings, and community content
    • Upload and organize photos, videos, and marketing assets
    • Assist with ongoing website improvements and content organization
  • Marketing Organization & Reporting
    • Maintain marketing calendars, project lists, and asset libraries
    • Assist with tracking marketing metrics and updating dashboards
    • Gather and organize data for monthly reporting
  • General Team Support
    • Provide day-to-day support to the marketing team across projects and divisions
    • Help keep marketing materials organized, consistent, and on brand
    • Step in where needed to support team priorities and deadlines

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of marketing experience (internship experiences welcome)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written communication and content editing skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Self-motivated and proactive—you take initiative and follow through
  • Enjoy supporting others and contributing to team success
  • Proficiency with Canva; basic photo/video editing skills a plus
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience updating website content through CMS platforms
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (HubSpot or similar)
  • Basic understanding of marketing analytics or reporting dashboards
  • Experience coordinating creative projects or content production


Schedule / Location

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • This is an onsite position in Cedar Rapids, IA (remote is not available)
  • Reports to Director of Marketing
