OBJECTIVE

The Outside Sales Representative – Rental & Facility Services is a full-time, field-based role focused on growing our business-to-business sales. You’ll spend your days out in your territory, meeting potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing solutions that make their operations smoother and more professional. This role combines prospecting, relationship-building, and consultative selling with the opportunity to grow a book of business you can be proud of.

Experience in rental or industrial laundry sales is highly preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with new customers.
  • Research and understand prospects’ businesses to support sales calls, product presentations, and proposals.
  • Listen to prospective customers’ needs and provide tailored solutions through proposals, negotiations, and contracts.
  • Schedule and complete weekly prospecting activities, including cold calls and tele-prospecting with key decision makers.
  • Educate customers on how our products and services can help them save money, run more smoothly, and look more professional.
  • Consistently achieve annual sales goals and weekly revenue targets.
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies for each customer.
  • Partner with our service team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.
  • Work with the marketing team to expand brand presence through campaigns and materials.
  • Generate new leads through cold-calling, networking, and territory research.
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities—including visits, calls, orders, and customer concerns—using our CRM system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and eager to succeed.
  • Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
  • Skilled in negotiation, presentations, and closing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within your territory.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred.
  • 2–3 years of B2B outside sales experience (industry experience strongly preferred).
  • Experience with CRM or sales database systems preferred.
  • Proof of insurance and a safe MVR record required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to stand, drive, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk reasonable distances during customer visits.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs consistently.
