SUMMARY Â
Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager II to lead large or multiple projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, safety, and strong customer relationships through exceptional service and team mentoring.Â
Â
RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Supervise overall financial health of projectsÂ
Develop and maintain project financial projectionsÂ
Allocate project estimate into financial systemÂ
Determine cost codes, approve invoices, manage budget decisionsÂ
Provide financials and billings to accounting for timely paymentÂ
Handle subcontracts and suppliers, oversee budget and selectionsÂ
Lead Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, manage career developmentÂ
Function as main point of contact with owner and on-site representativeÂ
Handle change orders, obtain customer/architect approvalÂ
Maintain schedule and budget, manage quality, risk, safety, complianceÂ

QUALIFICATIONSÂ
Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experienceÂ
Minimum 10 years of construction management or related experienceÂ
Current driver’s licenseÂ
Basic understanding of construction law and business practicesÂ
Active listening and effective communication skillsÂ
Ability to travel up to 100%Â

The base pay range for this role is $158,900 MIN - $238,400 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Â
Â
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.Â
