SUMMARYÂ Â
Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Â
 The Senior Scheduling Engineer will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities.Â
Â
RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities Â
Plan, coordinate, supervise, and direct planning and scheduling activitiesÂ
Ensure that corporate planning and schedule stands are implemented and that all project related activities complyÂ
Provide oversight and supervision of scheduling team Â
Coach, mentor, and train field personnel, forepersons, and assistant superintendentsÂ
Establish and nurture teamwork environmentÂ
Ensure crews have resources and supportÂ
Provide work direction and performance evaluationsÂ
Identify hiring needs and participate in hiring, discipline, and dismissal decisions if needed Â
Develop leadership potential through appropriate task assignments and career growth opportunitiesÂ
Implement Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety Program at project siteÂ
Manage open shop and union issuesÂ
Maintain relationships with all visitors to the site:  customers, architects, union representatives, subcontractors, et al.Â
Manage site work and logistics efficiently, providing suggestions for improvementÂ

QUALIFICATIONSÂ
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent fieldÂ
Minimum of four years construction experience or equivalent combination of training and experienceÂ
Experience as a project engineer is desirableÂ
Excellent oral and written communication skillsÂ
Active listening skills and effective communication, open to diverse input and feedbackÂ
Ability to travel may be required based on operating groupÂ
Thorough knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company softwareÂ
Thorough knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencingÂ
Ability to exercise creativity and mature judgment in solving unprecedented problems on complex projectsÂ
Strong plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation skillsÂ
Basic knowledge of project management, contracts, and buyoutÂ
Working knowledge of 4D visual planning methodologiesÂ
Strong organization and team skillsÂ
Basic knowledge of cost and resource loaded schedulesÂ
Basic knowledge of claims avoidance and resolution techniquesÂ
Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environmentÂ
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutionsÂ
Results-oriented to ensure delivery of accurate, complete, and timely products and servicesÂ

Senior Scheduler I:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: See aboveÂ
The base pay range for this role is $102,000 MIN - $137,700 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Â

Senior Scheduler II:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of six years construction experience or
equivalent combination of training and experienceÂ
The base pay range for this role is $107,200 MIN - $160,800 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Â

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.Â
