Principal Accountabilities:

Operate all equipment associated with the process, blowers, conditioners, extruders, cutters, dryers, grinders, packaging equipment, truck unload and load out and rail load out.
Operate Extrusion & Flour Process Equipment
Operate Fine Grind Truck Load out and Soy Flour Truck/Rail load out.
Monitor/observe Extrusion Equipment and Fine Grind Truck lead-out.
Monitor soy flake grinding and soy lecithin applications
Ensure accurate information of scale weights and transactions are recorded daily.
Collect and process flour mill and extrusion samples using various lab equipment to obtain and record values on a computer spreadsheet.
Move packaged product using a forklift.
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Be 18 years or older
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic computer skills
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
Mechanical aptitude

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
Prior experience in production related work
Experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
Working experience with software programs such as Microsoft Office, and Outlook
