Summary
Responsible for conducting statistical analysis and designing experiments to support data-driven decision-making. Works closely with the Data Science team to apply knowledge of existing data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions. Involves data exploration, model development and evaluation, and communicating findings to stakeholders. Interrupts the model outcome to drive actions and recommendations. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify business problems that can be solved using data science techniques and developing innovative solutions.

Job Duties
  • Perform data extraction, cleaning and harmonization.
  • Complete data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Develop predictive models, conduct statistical analysis and design experiments to support data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems that can be solved using data science.
  • Provide model interpretation and visualization of results.
  • Performs basic modeling and analysis of customer, transaction, and campaign data to identify trends and patterns to shape consumer segmentation and identify consumer behavior.
  • Supports the collection, analysis, and interpretation of information from multiple data sources helping to identify insights that create efficiencies, identify consumer perspectives on health care, or generate revenue.
  • Assists in the application of analytical models and data mining techniques to large and varied data sets.
  • Assists in the design of rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas to clinical staff, administrators, and hospital leadership.
  • Helps to build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms from development through testing for both clinical and non-clinical environments.
  • Facilitates other efforts in data collection, distribution, and analysis including the support of ETL processes to CRM cloud platforms like Salesforce.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 3 years in data science or related work experience.
  • Knowledge of data management languages and technologies such as Python, R, SQL or similar languages.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Qualifications
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
