Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications in a timely manner
- Ensure that the machine is maintained for the highest level of productivity and quality
- Perform in-process inspections on components being produced
- Complete required logs and shop tracking cards
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety of designated production area
Requirements:
- High school diploma and equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and work experience as a Machine Operator preferred
- Understanding of tolerances and dimensions
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to clearly communicate with co-workers and supervisors
- Able to identify inaccuracies in production material and/or processes
- Ability to stand for long periods of time during an 8-10 hour shift
