At Southmoor Pediatric Dentistry, we pride ourselves on providing excellent dental care in a welcoming and child-friendly environment. Our Dentists and Team are dedicated to helping our patient families maintain optimal oral health. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a dental assistant. Whether you are just starting in the field or have some experience, we are committed to training the right person to become a member of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize dental treatment rooms and instruments prior to patient appointments.
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Perform sterilization and disinfection of dental tools and equipment following strict infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care with empathy and clear communication.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow to minimize wait times.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials, ensuring availability for daily operations.
- Adhere to body motion and ergonomics best practices to maintain personal health and safety during clinical tasks.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn and grow in the dental field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team orientated environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Registered Dental Assistant with two years of experience preferred
- Previous dental experience would be helpful, but a great attitude and a strong work ethic are our first priorities.

- Pay Range: $20 - $24
- Primary Location: Denver + Centennial
