Role OverviewÂ
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support client groups comprised largely of manufacturing and engineering teams. This includes designing, implementing, and administering employee programs, policies, and procedures that align with the company's mission, goals, and objectives. The Senior HRBP will work closely with our leadership team to attract, retain, and develop top talent, while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment. Â
What You’ll Do...
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Design, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures that are specifically tailored to support the unique needs of manufacturing operations and engineering teams
- Ensure policies align with legal requirements, industry best practices, and company values to create a fair, efficient, and compliant workplace
- Regularly review and revise policies to stay aligned with business goals, industry trends, and evolving labor laws
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment
- Partner with Talent Acquisition in the recruitment and selection process, including identifying and leveraging appropriate recruitment channels to attract top talent
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership to determine headcount growth plans and skill needs
- Conduct interviews and assist with candidate selection to ensure cultural and technical fit for the team
Performance Management
- Drive adherence to our management processes to ensure that our team members are aligned with the company's goals, values, and objectives
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement strategies for underperformance, and opportunities for continued growth and development for key talent
Employee Relations
- Manage employee relations issues, ensuring that complaints and conflicts are addressed promptly and fairly
- Conduct thorough investigations into complaints, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate resolutions or corrective actions
- Provide guidance to leadership on employee relations matters, ensuring that actions taken are compliant with labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices
Coaching and Support
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues
- Act as a mediator when necessary, helping to resolve workplace conflicts and promoting a collaborative team atmosphere
Business Partnership
- Develop deep understanding of the goals and objectives of the organization, and collaborate with leadership to align HR practices and programs with long-term operational success
- Utilize and develop key HR metrics to evaluate effectiveness of HR programs and practices
Employee Engagement and Culture
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Oversee the local onboarding and assimilation process for new hires

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment 
- Proven experience developing and implementing HR programs, policies, and procedures 
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, as well as best practices in the field 
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills 
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experienceÂ
- Experience serving as an HR business partner or primary HR resource supporting employees and managersÂ
- Experience managing complex HR operations processes, including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HRIS administration, and compliance activitiesÂ
- Experience supporting employee relations matters and applying HR policies, procedures, and employment regulationsÂ
- Experience leading performance management processes, including goal setting, development plans, talent reviews, and calibration activitiesÂ
- Experience analyzing HR data, developing workforce insights, and using metrics to support business decisionsÂ
- Experience leading HR process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficienciesÂ
- Experience developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and standard operating proceduresÂ
- Experience managing confidential employee information and sensitive workplace matters

- Advanced knowledge of Human Resources practices, employee lifecycle management, and HR operationsÂ
- Strong ability to build relationships and influence employees, managers, and senior leaders across the organization
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend practical solutionsÂ

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and identify trends or improvement opportunitiesÂ
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiencesÂ
- Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements, employment practices, and risk management principlesÂ
- Ability to develop and implement scalable HR processes in a fast-paced, changing environmentÂ
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from planning through executionÂ
- Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
