The Role: Customer Service/Recovery Representative

As a Customer Service/Recovery Representative, you will assist patients with billing inquiries, update account information, and follow up on outstanding payments while ensuring accuracy and excellent service.

 

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable navigating a desktop computer and multi-line phone system
  • Knowledge of healthcare payers and Michigan collection laws is preferred
  • Familiarity with insurance eligibility processes is a plus

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Handle inbound customer calls regarding billing statements and account inquiries
  • Perform accurate data entry, including updating customer records and documenting interactions
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely resolution and payment
  • Obtain necessary written documentation from physicians and verify insurance eligibility
