Job Summary

Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant  for our Primary & Urgent Care - Centerton Bvld in Centerton, AR. The Medical Assistant assists in patient care under the direction of the clinicians and Clinic Nurses, assisting in providing excellent primary health care to our patients. The position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Bilingual speaking ability (Spanish/English) is required. CMA or RMA certification is required.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist providers with non-invasive clinical tasks, including obtaining vital signs and preparing patients for examination.
  • Perform patient intake duties, including vital signs, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and documentation as directed.
  • Prepare, stock, and clean exam rooms to ensure readiness for patient visits.
  • Conduct patient outreach to support care gap closure and fllow-up activities.
  • Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.
  • Support clinic workflow by maintaining organized daily logs and assigned tasks.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to patients and care team members.
  • comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA. 

 

Skills

  • Proficient spelling necessary.
  • Ability to work and function independently and within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds. 
  • Proficient knowledge in computer software such as Microsoft Office Software.
  • Able to perform proficiently on current practice management system and/or electronic medical records.


Required Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, or equivalent experience required.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1+ year(s) of clinical experience preferred.
  • 1+ year(s) medication administration experience preferred.
