JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:  We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive GL Accountant to join our growing accounting team. In this role, you will support the CFO and Controller by ensuring our financial records are accurate, timely, and complete. You will take ownership of critical daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting processes while helping improve systems and reporting across the organization.


DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to): 

 

  • Manage daily cash activity, record bank transactions, and resolve deposit/withdrawal discrepancies.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, interest, depreciation, and adjusting entries.
  • Maintain accounting records across multiple entities and projects.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for bank, loan, and fixed asset accounts.
  • Download, organize, and maintain financial documents such as bank and loan statements.
  • Prepare and distribute daily bank balance reports to management.
  • Assist with quarterly cash/liquidity reports and stale check reviews.
  • Support special projects and process-improvement initiatives, including automation.
  • Support annual audits and reviews with external CPA firms

 

 

EXPERIENCE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or working towards degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in general ledger or related accounting roles.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Positive attitude and a strong desire to contribute to a growing, fast-paced team environment
