Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Human Resources Recruiter to join our team. This role will focus on managing full-cycle recruitment for both field and office positions, sourcing qualified candidates, and partnering with hiring managers to meet workforce needs across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for a variety of roles, building strong candidate pipelines, and supporting onboarding processes. In addition to recruiting, this role will assist with HR administrative tasks, contribute to continuous improvement of our hiring practices, and be a company representation to schools, programs, and industry partners. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment: post job openings, screen applicants, perform interviews, and create job offers. This role involves supporting the onboarding & offboarding processes.
  • Conduct offboarding interviews to improve company practices.
  • Represent Hogan & Associates Construction by attending job fairs, supporting CTE programs, participating in advisory committees and assisting apprenticeship programs.
  • Prepare and process employment documents such as offer letters, background checks, drug tests, physical abilities tests, E-Verify, and employment verifications.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are clearly communicated, consistently followed, and updated as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives, special projects, and process improvements.
  • Support compliance efforts by staying current on federal, state, and local labor laws relevant to the construction industry.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or a minimum of 2 years of direct HR experience.
  • Prior experience using ADP for payroll and HRIS functions is a plus.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) for recruitment and candidate management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong skills specifically in Excel for data tracking and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Travel is expected.
  • Construction industry experience is a plus.
