Bartender

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate bartender to join our team at Cooney Hospitality Group Inc. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional cocktails, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position requires excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft and serve a diverse range of cocktails, wines, and other beverages with precision and creativity.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking ingredients, utensils, and glassware.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on preferences.
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, and other ingredients in advance to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including proper handling of alcohol and compliance with sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock with management.
• Work closely with other team members, including kitchen staff, to coordinate orders and deliver an exceptional experience.
• Stay informed about current cocktail trends, wine varieties, and industry developments to continuously enhance your skills and offerings.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, following established procedures for cash handling.
• Uphold the bar's reputation for excellence by consistently delivering high-quality beverages and attentive service to every guest.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy periods.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic math skills for processing transactions.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
