Sanitation Tech

The successful candidate will be expected to:

•    Demonstrate understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems; must be trained in chemical safety and proper use of PPE.

•    Maintain a strong working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety protocols, and allergen control procedures.

•    Complete sanitation preventive maintenance (PMs), daily housekeeping, and master sanitation tasks thoroughly and on schedule.

•    Follow brush control procedures, GMPs, color-coded tool guidelines, and proper tool usage for food safety.

•    Obtain and maintain certification for pallet jack operation.

•    Actively participate in departmental meetings and team functions.

•    Monitor and maintain inventory of sanitation and janitorial supplies; communicate needs proactively.

•    Support production operations during changeover sanitation cycles and Class A cleanings.

•    Clean and maintain sanitation tools and ensure 5S organization of sanitation storage and supply areas.

•    Successfully complete all required sanitation training.

•    Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or sanitation lead.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

•    Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from ladders as needed.

•    Basic literacy and computer skills to read, write, and enter job-related data.

•    Ability to track, count, and report inventory of required materials.
