This opportunity is per diem, as needed for both shifts 6am-2:30pm & 10am-6:30pm. 

 

The Meadows Psychiatric Center is the leading behavioral health treatment facility in Central Pennsylvania. We are located a short distance outside State College, PA. The Meadows is a 119 inpatient behavioral health hospital and has been providing comprehensive services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults for over 35 years. Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • vocational or other formal culinary education is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food service, food safety and sanitation is required.
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred.
  • Position also requires excellent verbal communication skills; ability to remain calm in dynamic environment; commitment to providing a high level of care to patients of all ages, excellent customer service skills and a reliable & dependable attendance to work profile.
  • Experience with cooking and meal prep in an institutional setting is preferred.
