Job DetailsJob Location: Wilson College - Chambersburg, PA 17201Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeWilson College invites applications for an Administrative Program Manager to support our innovative Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program — part of the College’s new accelerated hybrid healthcare initiative designed to expand access, flexibility, and workforce readiness in high-demand health professions. The Administrative Program Manager serves as the operational leader for the DPT program, overseeing day-to-day administrative functions and ensuring seamless coordination across faculty, students, and institutional partners. Working closely with the Program Director, this individual helps develop and maintain the program’s administrative infrastructure while fostering an organized, student-centered learning environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Program Operations & Administration Assist in planning, managing, and maintaining operational plans related to program operations, personnel, and facilities in collaboration with the Program Director Advise and support the Program Director, Administrative Faculty, and Core Faculty regarding operations, budget, personnel, and facilities Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, surveys, and data analyses related to operations, personnel, and revenue Develop internal and external reports related to financial, personnel, and facility resources Ensure alignment with institutional fiscal policies and procedures Assist in preparation and revision of program handbooks and essential documentation Maintain CAPTE-related records, documentation, and reporting requirements Hybrid & Immersion Coordination Plan, manage, and direct on-site lab intensive sessions, including logistics, setup and breakdown of lab spaces, and coordination of equipment Support curriculum planning and scheduling of immersion experiences Be present for the entirety of required lab immersions Coordinate travel for Program Directors, Core Faculty, and associated faculty Technology, Facilities & Equipment Manage instructional and information technology needs within the program Order, inventory, and oversee preventative maintenance of all program equipment Establish and maintain policies and procedures for equipment storage and shared resources Personnel & Supervision Supervise departmental administrative staff, including the Lab Manager Oversee correspondence, contracts, scheduling, and agreements with adjunct faculty Secondary Responsibilities Provide general administrative support to DPT faculty Attend program meetings and maintain minutes as needed Assist with exam proctoring Participate in program community service initiatives Perform other duties as assigned COMPETENCIES & KNOWLEDGE: Strong organizational leadership with the ability to manage complex operations and multiple priorities Knowledge of accounting principles, fiscal management, and budget oversight Understanding of facility management and operational logistics Knowledge of human resource management practices Experience coordinating multi-site logistics and technology systems (including AI applications) Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Loop, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Knowledge of higher education operations, preferably in a health-related field Ability to interpret and apply institutional policies, FERPA, and HIPAA regulations Exceptional communication skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion Ability to build collaborative relationships with faculty, students, administrators, and external partners   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred Documented experience related to program operations, budgeting, logistics, or higher education administration Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based academic environment Valid driver’s license required POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full‑time, exempt position. Remote/Hybrid Work schedules may vary based on departmental and institutional needs. Flexibility is essential, and employees may be asked to adjust their schedule to meet operational needs. Evening and weekend work may be required.
