Graduate Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical, Telemetry/Observation, and IMCU
- Med Surg 2 East: 30 bed unit; primary focus – surgical, including all orthopedics urology and bariatric
- Med Surg 3 East: 27-bed unit; primary focus – renal and oncology
- Med Surg 3 West: 30-bed unit; primary focus – advanced Medical/Surgical and stroke
- IMCU: 30-bed unit providing care to high acuity care patients, including: Cardiac and EP procedures; Respiratory failure-CPAP, BiPAP; Cardiac arrythmia management; Sepsis, DKA
- Telelemetry/Observation: 30-bed unit specializing in cardiac, medical, and surgical patients
- Individualized orientation program with knowledgeable preceptors focuses on clinical skill development and enhancement of professional role
- Full time (72 hours bi-weekly)
- 12 hour night (7pm - 7 am)
- Every third weekend
- Shift and Weekend Differential Eligibility
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Â Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
