Job DetailsJob Location: Wilson College - Chambersburg, PA 17201Position Type: Full TimeWilson College invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year. This is a nine-month faculty appointment with a 4/4 teaching load, and an annual review schedule. The successful candidate will join a collaborative, student-centered program committed to preparing future veterinary nurses through hands-on instruction, clinical skills development, mentorship, and experiential learning. Teaching responsibilities may include lecture and laboratory courses within the Veterinary Nursing and/or Animal Studies curricula, depending on the candidate’s expertise and program needs. Required Qualifications: A minimum of an associate degree in veterinary technology and a bachelor's degree, which may be in veterinary technology or another field. Candidates must hold Pennsylvania veterinary technician credentials or be eligible to obtain Pennsylvania credentialing, or hold a Pennsylvania veterinary license or be eligible for Pennsylvania veterinary licensure. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology or Veterinary Nursing. Minimum of three years of clinical veterinary experience. Prior teaching, training, clinical instruction, or mentoring experience. Clinical expertise in one or more of the following areas: small animal medicine, surgery, anesthesia, laboratory animal science, equine medicine, or related disciplines.
