Multiple Openings Available | 1st & 3rd Shift

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are currently hiring for multiple Production and Machine Operator positions within our tire recycling and material processing operations. If you enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you.

Available Positions

Production System Operator - 1st Shift

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Mondays: As needed

The Production System Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment across multiple manufacturing systems. This role supports material processing, product quality, packaging, and equipment performance while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production line equipment with minimal supervision
  • Perform equipment setup, troubleshooting, and process adjustments
  • Conduct quality inspections and testing procedures
  • Complete production documentation and inventory transactions
  • Follow production standards and packaging requirements
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance
  • Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other material handling equipment
  • Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards
  • Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities

Wire Removal Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Mondays: Occasional overtime as needed

The Wire Removal Machine Operator is responsible for operating specialized equipment that processes recycled tires into approximately Âľ-inch rubber chips while removing embedded tire wire. This position requires machine operation experience, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to perform equipment cleaning and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate tire grinding and wire removal equipment
  • Monitor material flow and equipment performance throughout production
  • Ensure rubber chips meet quality specifications
  • Remove and manage recovered tire wire materials
  • Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials and finished products
  • Conduct routine inspections and identify mechanical issues
  • Perform cleaning and preventative maintenance activities
  • Safely enter equipment for cleaning and maintenance following lockout/tagout procedures
  • Maintain accurate production records
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safety compliant

Buffering Machine Operator

The Buffering Machine Operator will be responsible for operating equipment used in the tire processing operation while ensuring quality, safety, and production goals are achieved. Additional details will be provided as the position is finalized.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent manufacturing experience
  • Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Preferred

  • Forklift experience
  • Manufacturing or recycling industry experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with industrial production equipment
  • Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work around moving machinery and production equipment
  • Ability to safely climb and access equipment for cleaning and maintenance activities

Work Environment

This position is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to:

  • Dust and airborne particles
  • Loud noise levels
  • Moving machinery and equipment
  • Temperature fluctuations
  • Industrial materials and processing equipment

Required PPE may include:

  • Safety glasses
  • Hearing protection
  • Steel-toe or composite-toe footwear
  • Additional PPE as required
