Family Birthing Services is offering RN positions as part of their Fellowship Program for candidates who are graduates of an accredited School of Nursing and licensed as Registered Nurses in Pennsylvania.
Candidates must have CPR certification and complete various requirements during the fellowship, including AWHONN POEP modules, EKG, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
This full-time position involves working 72 hours biweekly on a 7pm-7am shift, with every third weekend required and eligibility for shift and weekend differentials.
The Registered Nurse will be accountable for patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, focusing on the unique needs of the population served.
The job requires at least one year of experience and offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Family Birthing Services (RN) Fellowship Program

Family Birthing Services currently has RN openings for participation in the Family Birthing Services Fellowship Program (FBSFP). Qualified candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing, currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania. CPR certification required.

After acceptance, requirements for successful completion of the program include the following:
• Each Phase 1-4 of the Family Birthing Services Fellowship program
• AWHONN POEP modules and final exam. (On-line pre-tests and post-tests must be completed for each module with a minimum passing grade of 80%, final exam of 80%).
• AWHONN Basic and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course
• EKG Course
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Keystone 10 education modules for Breastfeeding

Full time (72 hours biweekly)
Shift: 7pm-7am (12 hour night)
Every third weekend
Eligible for shift and weekend differential

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
