Family Birthing Services (RN) Fellowship Program
Family Birthing Services currently has RN openings for participation in the Family Birthing Services Fellowship Program (FBSFP). Qualified candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing, currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania. CPR certification required.
After acceptance, requirements for successful completion of the program include the following:
• Each Phase 1-4 of the Family Birthing Services Fellowship program
• AWHONN POEP modules and final exam. (On-line pre-tests and post-tests must be completed for each module with a minimum passing grade of 80%, final exam of 80%).
• AWHONN Basic and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course
• EKG Course
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Keystone 10 education modules for Breastfeeding
- Full time (72 hours biweekly)
- Shift: Â 7pm-7am (12 hour night)
- Every third weekend
- Eligible for shift and weekend differential
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Â Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
