Registered Nurse - Family Birthing Services

14-bed LDRP unit. Required Neonatal Resuscitation Program will be provided, AWHONN Fetal monitoring, basic and intermediate provided, ACLS
14-bed postpartum unit
OB/GYN and Clinical Nurse Managers and APP Providers
Provides family-centered maternity and newborn care
Approximately 1,800 births annually
Level II NICU
Staffed with Lactation Consultants
Professional growth through a Clinical Ladder Program
RN Fellowship Program for non OB experience RNs and graduate nurses
Full time (72 hours biweekly)

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
