The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the comprehensive care of patients, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
The role includes recognizing and treating physical and psychosocial changes specific to the age and population served in the unit.

2 East – Surgical – Registered Nurse

2 East – 30 bed unit; primary focus – surgical, including all orthopedics urology and bariatric.
Individualized orientation program with knowledgeable preceptors focusses on clinical skill development and enhancement of professional role within the Med-Surg environment.
Full time (72 hours biweekly)
Shift: 12 hour Night
Every third weekend
Eligible for shift and weekend differential

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
