Candidates are expected to have at least one year of nursing experience and will receive a comprehensive orientation program, including a residency for new graduates.

Shifts are 12-hour nights (7-7) with an average of 72 hours biweekly, including every third weekend and eligibility for weekend differentials.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for coordinating patient care using the nursing process, addressing both physical and psychosocial changes unique to the patient population.

RN- Telemetry/Observation Unit

30-bed unit specializing in cardiac, medical, and surgical patients
Individualized, comprehensive orientation program.

Basic Rhythm course, ACLS certification, and NIHSS course provided.

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
