Responsibilities

  • Handles receipt, storage, and shipment of supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Receives, unloads, and processes incoming shipments (manual or MHE).
  • Selects proper storage locations and organizes items based on documentation.
  • Segregates materials by condition or transaction type; holds items for inspection.
  • Routes materials to appropriate storage or designated departments.
  • Reports shortages, overages, or damages to supervisor.
  • Verifies stock identification and ensures accurate item selection.
  • Updates inventory locations in automated systems.
  • Prepares and assembles items for shipment or issue.
  • Loads materials safely to prevent damage and ensure efficient unloading.
  • Completes and signs shipping/receiving documents (pack lists, logbooks, etc.).
  • Assists with paperwork and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Plans loads and determines appropriate transport equipment.
  • Operates commercial vehicles (26,000–32,000 lbs) such as vans, pickups, and flatbeds.
  • Transports materials over public roads; ensures cargo is balanced and secured.
  • Performs basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Operates forklifts/MHE capable of lifting 20,000+ lbs.
  • Must obtain or be able to obtain a CDL with required endorsements.
  • Will obtain forklift certification as required.

Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of experience working in a warehouse. 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Ability to Obtain and Maintain Secret security clearance.
