Job Description

Successful Midwestern law firm is seeking an Attorney to handle defending workers’ compensation and general liability claims in Champaign/Urbana.  

Must have an Illinois Bar license and reside in central Illinois.  

 Job functions include litigating workers’ compensation cases through all phases on behalf of employers and insurers, management of individual caseload, drafting pleadings and conducting legal research as needed, negotiations for settlement, and attending hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations and other proceedings. 

Qualifications

  • J.D. and license in Illinois required.  
  • Experience defending workers’ compensation and general liability claims.
