Salary

  • $18-$28

Education Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university; majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science

Preferred Skill Requirements

  • Project Managment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ProE Die Design, Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of the basics of Heat Treating and Mechanical Testing
  • Analytical Capability

Responsibilities

  • Reduction of steel usage, stock size, lead time and scrap

    Manufacturing technological improvements

  • Strategy formulation and implementations of Robotics

  • Plant velocity improvements

  • Reduction of paper usage [digitization]

  • Estimating time improvements

  • Process elimination/improvements

  • Research and Development of materials’ and processes

  • Research and recommendations of industry best practices

  • Product development

  • Reduction of energy consumption

  • Strategy formulation and implementation for plant expansion project
