Job DetailsJob Location: University (LLC) - Champaign, IL 61820Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 2-Year DegreeSalary Range: $22.94 - $44.55 HourlyJob Shift: 1st ShiftJob Category: NursingChristie Clinic's department of Floats is seeking a full-time-time RN or LPN(Sign-On Bonus & Quarterly Bonuses Available) from Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with no night or weekend requirements.聽 Duties include the provision of professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Ability to travel to satellite locations to cover departmental needs with reimbursement for mileage and travel time (per IRS guidelines). The float department travels up-to a 60-mile radius of Champaign, Illinois and has quarterly bonus eligibility for team members in good standing after 90 days of employment.聽 Candidates must possess (or in the process of obtaining) an Illinois State Nursing License and CPR. Professional nursing experience is preferred. Job Qualifications and ExpectationsJOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.) Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with nursing standards and as directed by provider.聽 Prepare equipment and aid provider during treatment, examination and/or testing of the patient.聽 Observe, record and report patient鈥檚 condition and reaction to medication and/or treatment to provider.聽 Act as a liaison between the patient and provider regarding complaints, concerns, etc. Instruct patient and family regarding medication, treatment instructions and patient education. Demonstrate the ability to respond to triage calls using nursing assessment. Maintain and update patient medical record upon visit.聽 Maintain relevant office supplies for department effectiveness.聽聽 Attend a minimum of two monthly huddles (occurring after hours) per quarter. Perform related work as required. Travel to satellite Christie Clinic locations to cover departmental needs.聽 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:聽 Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Evidence of annual completion of health related courses and/or seminars with a certificate and/or CEU鈥檚 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Professional nursing experience聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:聽 Possession of an Illinois State Registered Nurse License CPR Certification TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching and lifting.聽 (amount varies by department) Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of office equipment is required.聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a clinical setting with possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, hazardous waste, bodily fluids and other waste common to a health care environment.聽 Ionizing radiation and medicinal preparations are also common.聽 Requirements may include working irregular hours. PAY AND BENEFITS: The estimated pay range for this position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related criteria. This position allows for interchangeable credentialed roles with varying pay ranges: LPN pay range: $22.94 to $31.54 /hr.聽 RN pay range: $32.40 to $44.55 /hr.
