Job DetailsJob Location: First Street Branch - Champaign, IL 61820Salary Range: $16.19 - $16.19 HourlyThe teller serves as a versatile frontline team member responsible for processing all incoming mail transactions as well as financial transactions in our drive-up areas as needed. A teller is essential in building strong member relationships, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting the credit union's commitment to service excellence and operational efficiency. This position will assist in fulfilling the mission of the credit union and will maintain a strong member service chain in order to create and maintain loyalty with both internal and external members and vendors. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Consistently identify the needs of members and recommend appropriate credit union solutions in order to meet and exceed production goals and help achieve organizational goals. Consistently provide outstanding service focusing on member service and member loyalty skills. Process incoming mail transactions. Distribute mail to other departments as necessary. Adheres to credit union policy and procedures to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all member transactions. Own internal and external member problems, issues, and complaints, and ensures the appropriate follow up to achieve proper resolution. Salary and Benefits: Starting salary is $16.19 per hour. Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
