Sports Site Workers are the go-to staff on game days, helping leagues run smoothly, keeping facilities safe, and making sure participants, officials, and families have a positive experience. You’ll be hands-on, visible, and trusted to keep things organized and running on schedule. Summary of Responsibilities: Assist with setup, monitoring, and breakdown of sports equipment and activity areas Provide friendly, professional customer service to participants, spectators, officials, and staff Monitor facilities to ensure a safe and orderly environment during games and events Enforce Park District rules and policies consistently and respectfully Staff admissions or gate areas as assigned Inspect equipment and report safety concerns or maintenance needs Complete accident, incident, and injury reports on the same day they occur Perform light cleaning of restrooms and common areas during shifts Wear required Park District apparel and represent the District professionally at all times Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the public and staff Basic understanding of sports rules, game flow, and scorekeeping Ability to follow instructions, enforce policies, and respond appropriately to incidents Availability to work evenings and weekends Why Work With Us?
