The Champaign Park District is looking for a dependable and organized Youth & Teen Program Assistant to help support a variety of youth and teen programs, including after-school, summer, and specialty programs. In this role, you'll work closely with the Youth & Teen Program Coordinator to keep programs running smoothly by assisting with scheduling, communication, program logistics, and day-to-day operations while helping create a welcoming environment for participants and families. Summary of Responsibilities Assist with planning, organizing, and supporting youth and teen programs and special events. Prepare program materials, supplies, and equipment. Maintain participant records, attendance, and program documentation. Help coordinate daily program operations and logistics. Assist with supervising participants during programs as needed. Support scheduling and communication with seasonal staff. Help onboard and orient new seasonal employees. Serve as a resource for part-time and seasonal staff during program hours. Respond professionally to questions from parents and participants. Assist with resolving routine participant concerns. Build positive relationships with families, schools, and community partners. Support a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for participants and staff. Why Work With Us? Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based software applications. Valid Illinois Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
