Telepharmacy Technician

Within our Telepharmacy Remote Dispensing Pharmacy (RDP) locations, we bring this promise to life with heart every day, and our Telepharmacy Technicians play a critical role in consistently delivering on our brand promise. As a Telepharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for all daily pharmacy operations, with Pharmacist oversight occurring from a separate Supervising Pharmacy location. Telepharmacy Technicians build upon the responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician and are focused on managing day-to-day operations, execution, and performance while delivering operational and service excellence. Telepharmacy Technicians operate as part of the pharmacy team through consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and effective communication with the Supervising Pharmacy/Pharmacist, and Telepharmacy Tech Team Leader. Throughout their shifts and in all customer and colleague interactions, they demonstrate genuine care and contribute to a safe and inclusive culture where all people feel valued and empowered. Responsibilities include: following all company SOPs, overseeing safe and secure operation of the Remote Dispensing Pharmacy, following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, completing controlled substance prescription tasks, contributing to positive patient experiences, completing inventory activities, contributing to a high-performing team, remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs, serving as a peer mentor, complying with all relevant laws and CVS policies, delivering additional patient health care services when the pharmacist is on-site, and supporting immunizations where permissible. Required qualifications include compliance with state board of pharmacy requirements, minimum age and education requirements, national certification (PTCB or ExCPT), 1+ years full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician, and regular and predictable attendance. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years previous experience, advanced certification, ability to become immunization certified, and experience in pharmacy or customer service settings.
