PacSci EMC, a Ralliant Company, is seeking a skilled Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, installation, and continuous operation of critical facility infrastructure and plant systems. Under general supervision, this role is responsible for maintaining the reliability, safety, and performance of building systems, utilities, equipment, and facility assets that support manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across a wide range of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, utility, and facility systems. This hands-on role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to support both routine maintenance activities and urgent operational needs in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and installations on facility and utility systems throughout the plant.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building-related issues to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain and service plant infrastructure including air compressors, pumps, air handlers, ventilation systems, lighting, utility distribution systems, and other facility equipment.
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules, equipment inspections, and maintenance-related inventories.
  • Support facility improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and installation activities.
  • Assist with maintenance of roofing, pavement, landscaping, building exteriors, and general facility infrastructure.
  • Monitor and maintain environmental systems supporting critical operations, including server room cooling and utility systems.
  • Coordinate inspections and maintenance activities related to fire protection and life safety systems.
  • Diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Operate maintenance tools, power equipment, forklifts, and other facility support equipment as required.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations and support plant operations during equipment downtime.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S.
  • Perform general facility support duties as needed to maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.

    Preferred Qualifications
     
  • Experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, manufacturing support, or building operations.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and utility systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial environment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and workplace safety procedures.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, building automation controls, or facility utility systems is a plus, but not required.
