Role Summary:

The Machine Operator will set up, maintain, and operate the assigned machinery. The goals are to keep the machine in good condition and running, hit the productivity targets and ensure the required quality standards. Safety must be a value and a mindset, as well as the continuous improvement approach.

Work Location: Chandler, Arizona

Your day-to-day might include:

  • Ensure that all activities are carried out safely

  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle

  • Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed)

  • Adjust production equipment such as clearing jams, product changeovers, etc.

  • Clean up and blow down machinery; assist setting up equipment for production runs

  • Inspect and troubleshoot the operation of the machines with precision and measuring tools

  • Fix and/or report mechanical issues that might occur during the shift

  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws

  • Ensure daily throughput is in line with target

  • Perform quality checks on packaging to ensure all produced products meet quality standards

  • Follow SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) for production equipment

  • Keep work area organized, clean and safe

  • Help to identify opportunities for improvement (safety, quality, productivity)

  • Utilize Forklift to feed raw material to fully & semi-automated machines

  • Performs other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

  • Experience operating machinery is recommended

  • Forklift / Pallet Jack experience preferred but not required

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Attention to detail and proactive attitude

  • Adherence to health and safety regulations

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals

  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat for long periods of time

  • Ability to lift heavy material, up to 50 lbs

Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
