The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in Chandler Fab Metrology equipment area.

The technician position is responsible for effectively executing tasks that are required to maintain primarily the toolsets within the following tool groups:

Metrology

KLA :

  • SP1 TBI
  • AIT III/XP
  • 2138/2367
  • 8920/8930 Altair
  • UV1050/1250/1280
  • 6100/6200
  • ASET F5X
  • Flexus
  • HRP-220
  • RS55/75/200

Rudolph :

  • Ellipsometer VII
  • NSX330

AMAT :

  • SEMVision G3

The tasks include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic and mechanical systems, scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of the area. The desired candidate should have a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems and demonstrate problem-solving skills. The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied.  The candidate will be required to understand and follow all safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals. The desired candidate may be required to complete documentation and train others.

The desired candidate will be required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.

The position requires working a compressed days shift.

Key Challenges:

Able to diagnose equipment alarms, read operational data and create action plans as needed.

Able to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment and sustain equipment with minimal direction.

Able to use root-cause problem-solving techniques to solve complex problems on Semiconductor toolsets.

Education:

AA, AS, AAS, in electronics or other mechanical discipline is preferred. Education along with experience in Implant or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
