Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Receives and prepares incoming and outgoing dry bulk products by performing the following duties.

  • Prior to unloading and/or bagging product, review all paperwork to ensure that the product being unloaded or loaded matches the documentation.

  • Inspect all packaging materials inside and out prior to filling.

  • Obtain laboratory approval for all raw materials delivered to the plant prior to packaging product.

  • Ensure that applicable products meet all quality standards and have been approved by the lab prior to packaging.

  • Properly mark, label and fill bags, supersacks and packages in accordance with Brenntag’s Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Maintain inventory of packaging supplies.

  • Perform dry blending operator duties as needed.

  • Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the facility.

  • Observe, follow and enforce all Brenntag Policies and Procedures.

  • Attend all required training when scheduled unless absent from work.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Your Profile

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent

  • combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Forklift certification required.

  • Possess knowledge to operate scales, conveyor belts and bagging unit.

  • Must meet PFT requirements to wear a respirator. Cannot have any facial hair that may interfere with a respirator.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

  • Ability to ready, comprehend and carry out detailed and simple instructions and write simple correspondence.

  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
