Position Summary
PacSci EMC is seeking experienced Quality Engineers to help transform and scale a growing aerospace manufacturing operation. This position provides broad ownership across Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Quality, and Customer Quality while partnering with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and customers to improve quality performance, strengthen process capability, and support continued business growth. Quality Engineers are empowered to make decisions, influence change, and continuously improve processes within a collaborative, high-accountability culture.
What You'll Do
•    Provide day-to-day quality engineering support to manufacturing operations to ensure product conformity and process control.
•    Lead root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Support Manufacturing, Supplier, or Customer Quality based on business need, with opportunities to cross-train across all three disciplines.
•    Develop and maintain inspection instructions, control plans, validation documentation and quality records.
•    Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and reduce defects.
•    Partner with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance.
•    Support audits and maintain compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.
•    Drive supplier accountability and delegated source inspection initiatives to improve flow and reduce receiving inspection.
Qualifications
Required
•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
•    5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
•    Experience with manufacturing process validation, corrective action, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
•    Ability to work cross-functionally, build strong relationships, and influence without direct authority.
•    Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
•    U.S. Citizenship and ability to successfully complete required background screenings, including ATF requirements.
Preferred
•    AS9100 experience (ISO 9001 experience also valued).
•    AS9102 First Article Inspection experience (particularly for Supplier Quality assignments).
•    GD&T, PPAP, Cpk, FMEA, Lean, Six Sigma, and Lead Auditor experience.
•    Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, medical device, semiconductor, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
