We're looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician for our brand-new affordable housing community, Villas on McQueen (157-units), in Chandler AZ. What You'll Do:
Organize, schedule, and oversee the maintenance workflow for the community.
Work within established budgets and assist with managing vendor relationships and bidding processes.
Respond to work orders and perform corrective maintenance with professionalism and resident focus.
Perform daily property walks to keep the property & grounds clean, safe, and looking sharp.
Coordinate all move-ins and move-outs with the Property Manager.
Maintain a schedule for the timely completion of apartment make-readies.
Tackle seasonal prep such as fall cleanup.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance and property inspections.
Participate in the on-call emergency maintenance rotation as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
At least 5 years of maintenance experience required, lead experience is a plus!
Strong mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills.
Ability to read and complete work orders and service requests.
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC troubleshooting, and appliance repair.
Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record.
Ability to participate in on-call emergency rotation.
Reside in Chandler or within reasonable driving distance, as we do not provide employee housing.
HVAC EPA Type ll or Universal certification preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay between $28-$31/hour based on experience.
