OVERVIEW:
Responsibilities include Ericsson UMTS & LTE Software Scripting, Integration and Troubleshooting support functions. The position will be responsible to provide instruction and assistance as required.
- Understanding of Carriers RAN Integration process and procedures (ALU, Ericsson, Nokia - GSM, WCDMA, UMTS and LTE technology)
- DAS installation and testing
- Integration of router/SIAD based equipment (Tellabs, Cisco, and ALU) Installation and testing of 911 Phase II location support systems
IP knowledge in IP addressing, sub netting, routing protocols, VLAN, MPLS Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management. The position reports to the Executive Director for the geographic area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Commissioning, Decommissioning, Integration and Testing of Ericsson site equipment including Ericsson NodeB's, eNodeB's, Microcells and Macrocells.
- Implement New Site Builds (NSB), Carrier Add and Indoor systems including Installation, Integration, Testing, Transport, Alarm, Power, Ground, SIAD, Functional and E911 call testing.
- Perform Technical Site Surveys and create associated schematics; Troubleshoot, Diagnose and resolve issues and alarms.
- Prepare post implementation site packages and field reports.
- Conduct weekly meetings with project staff to review individual site progress. Oversee project tracking and documentation.
- Maintain proper communications and relations with project personnel; coordinate internal resources and ensure the team has competent personnel to accomplish their respective duties
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships

QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree or equivalent work experience in the wireless site development industry
- 1 to 3 years of progressive job experience in the above job duties/skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing wireless site development professionals through prior experience in network deployment projects, site acquisition or construction management responsibilities
- Experience with Ericsson LTE, UMTS, ETTCS, NSB, Mods, MW backhaul
- Must be able to travel
- Telecom integration experience, Ericsson Certified
