The Role

Reporting to VP Backend OPS and based in our Chandler, Arizona headquarters, the Sr Test Technician will be responsible for Product setup, scheduling and probe card management. Including Facilities Management and Tester Management.


Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Product Setup – Probe card loading, Cassette loading, Controller file setup, setting up and launching the vee code. Changing the prober polish pad. (Spec)
  • Product Scheduling/Tracking – Entering product in spreadsheet (Lot# and Device) Probe card and tester selection.
  • Probe Card Management – Keeping track of probe card touchdowns on spreadsheet and sending them off to repair.
  • Facilities Management – Compressed Dry Air (CDA), Vacuum, Chilled water, Nitrogen, DI water. Take daily readings and schedule Quarterly Maintenance. I perform DI water maintenance.
  • Cladding reset parts – Enter information into Spinweb, reset parts in Walker Magnet. Using Spinweb Generate Commercial Invoice and packing list for shipping. (Spec)
  • Tester Calibration and Maintenance – Calibrate Testers every 6 months (Spec). Repair Tester when it fails diagnostic and /or Calibration
  • Tester Spares Management – Inventory of spare tester boards.
  • Manage Prober Maintenance and PM’s – Schedule TEL to come in.
  • General Maintenance – Fix label jams in label maker, Fix shipping equipment, Fix issues with inspection station, Assemble items for the lab- Example: Wafer cage assembly.
  • Wafer Inventory – Prepare for yearend wafer audit.
  • Engineering requests for blue M oven and sys6 engineering experiments.

 

 

 

Qualifications & competencies

  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in team environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized approach to performing and reviewing work. 2
