In this role, you will support quality and commissioning activities for wastewater systems within a high-tech manufacturing environment. You will work closely with construction, engineering, operations, and project stakeholders to support system readiness, performance, and successful turnover.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality and commissioning walks to verify installation and readiness of wastewater systems and equipment.
  • Commission wastewater infrastructure including piping, VFDs, tanks, pumps, instrumentation, and lift stations.
  • Identify, document, and resolve quality and commissioning issues to ensure system performance and compliance.
  • Coordinate with construction, engineering, and operations teams to support successful system startup and turnover.
  • Review and validate system documentation, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Execute testing and validation procedures for wastewater systems and components.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project quality guidelines.
  • Support troubleshooting and optimization of wastewater systems during commissioning activities.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, deficiencies, and commissioning activities.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on quality, system readiness, and commissioning progress.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

 

Skills Required:

  • Experience with wastewater, industrial water, process utility, or similar mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of wastewater equipment including pumps, tanks, piping, VFDs, instrumentation, and lift stations.
  • Understanding of quality assurance, quality control, commissioning, startup, and system turnover processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Process Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Commissioning, wastewater, or related technical certification preferred.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
