Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Production Support Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Global Information Security Production Services team. This role is critical in ensuring the stability and reliability of our production environments through eliminating none permitted technology, driving GIS data center residency exercises, and—most importantly—enterprise-level application release coordination.
As a key member of our production services organization, you will be responsible for managing and aligning release schedules across the enterprise with multiple applications and teams to ensure that changes are deployed in a controlled, conflict-free manner. This includes proactively identifying and resolving potential change collisions before they impact production systems. Your ability to coordinate across diverse technical domains and maintain operational stability will be critical to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise-Level Release Coordination:
Own and manage the release calendar across Global Information Security applications. Ensure cross-functional alignment to prevent overlapping or conflicting changes that could impact production stability - Change Collision Prevention:
Establish and enforce governance processes to proactively identify and mitigate potential change conflicts across environments - Remediation Leadership:
Drive to enhance our release coordination, none permitted technology remediation and data center resiliency exercises, so we have closure of remediation action plans across teams, ensuring accountability and timely execution - Cross-Team Collaboration:
Partner with infrastructure, development, and vendor teams involved in hardware design, acquisition, capacity planning, monitoring, and deployment - Automation & Reporting:
Lead initiatives to automate dashboards, reports, and support tools to improve visibility and operational efficiency - Compliance & Architecture Alignment:
Ensure all systems and changes comply with enterprise architecture and security standards - Availability & Responsiveness:
Provide responsive support for priority systems, including after-hours and weekend availability for on-call and scheduled maintenance
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in enterprise release management or large-scale production support
- Strong understanding of change management frameworks and ITIL practices
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with release management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of change collisions avoided through proactive coordination
- Release success rate and post-release incident volume
- SLA adherence for release and change execution
- Automation coverage for support processes and reporting
The ideal candidate will be a self starter. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the candidate must be effective in communicating to all levels of management and in addition must have the ability to communicate to external and internal partners.  The candidate must be able to escalate issues to senior managers while providing both written and verbal executive summaries. Â
Candidate will have knowledge of banking, bank standards and processes, ITSM, ITIL, monitoring tools and an understanding of networking.Â
