The Accounting Specialist will handle various bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate should possess strong client service skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities include processing client invoices, maintaining accounts, recording payments, and handling collections and reconciliations.
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience and proficiency in Google Workplace, Quickbooks, and Adobe.
The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

Position Summary

The Accounting Specialist will perform a variety of bookkeeping, A/R, A/P, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is able to work independently as well as part of a team and has strong client service skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Process client invoices
Maintain client accounts and coordinate with sales team
Record client payments
Collections
A/R reconciliations
Record e-commerce sales
Process client applications
Process USPS mail
Process Franchisee(s) bi-monthly/monthly reports
Sales tax reporting
GSA reporting
Track budget expenses

Skills

5 or more years of related experience.
Proficient in Google Workplace applications, Quickbooks Online/Quickbooks Desktop, and Adobe
Experience with Salesforce, Shopify, PayPal, Ariba, Transcepta, and Coupa is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
