Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Graphic Designer with Video Experience to join our team! In this role you will get to focus on designing within our fast-paced, deadline-driven, Defense & Intelligence and Engineered Systems federal business units. Targeting the DC, VA, & MD vicinity.
What You'll Be Doing:
Partner on our proposals and orals across an array of federal markets
Support the development of strategic creative solutions for graphics, infographics, page layout, document design, video and presentations that meet requirements while being effective communication tools
Convert text to visuals to make complex concepts more digestible and engaging to audiences with a variety of subject matter familiarityÂ
Conveying both technical and abstract concepts clearly for an array of audiences
Be inquisitive and ask questions while collaborating with technical subject matter experts and proposal teams to help refine our solutions
Aim to enhance our winning message through strategy-driven visual storytellingÂ
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
10+ years of related work experience
Associates degree in Graphic Design or related degreeÂ
Proven experience translating information into compelling visuals for US Government proposalsÂ
Identify opportunities to develop new visuals to enhance the written content and amplify the messaging
Strength articulating and gaining buy-in for proposed creative solutions with a variety of stakeholders
Ability to apply design-thinking strategically within strict restrictions
Extensive experience working creatively within RFP requirements, as well as brand systems and standardsÂ
Experience working as part of a creative team using established creative workflows, while also taking ownership of assignments and working independentlyÂ
Experience delivering files optimized for digital and print deliverables
Willing to report to facility when required
Experience with video filming/editing
U.S. Citizen
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience with FEDSIM proposals
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or certificate of completion from an accredited design/graphics course (or equivalent)
Experience working with technical diagrams, flow diagrams, and maps strongly preferred
Knowledge of using JIRA to manage workflows
Experience with physical print production and finishing
