Responsibilities
The Systems Engineer shall perform systems engineering functions in support of Maryland Procurement Office , including but not limited to:Â
- Define, document, and maintain Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), operational requirements, system requirements, and use cases to support system developmentÂ
- Perform high-level system design, including specification of system and component performance requirements and interface definitionsÂ
- Develop and support installation, integration, and acceptance test plansÂ
- Continuously assess existing organizational processes and engineering work products to ensure alignment with strategic and tactical objectivesÂ
- Coordinate with customers, project teams, and related organizations to ensure delivered solutions satisfy mission and technical requirementsÂ
- Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for solutions developed by product and engineering teamsÂ
- Support systems engineering activities across the full system lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, operations, maintenance, and decommissioningÂ
- Provide technical input to planning, risk management, and engineering decision-making activitiesÂ
- Prepare and support technical documentation, reviews, and briefings for stakeholdersÂ

 Pay Range: $115,000 - $130,000

Qualifications & Physical Requirements
EducationÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus three (3) years of relevant experience; ORÂ
- Master’s degree plus one (1) year of relevant experience;Â
Â
- Top Secret/SCI clearance is requiredÂ
- Full Scope PolygraphÂ
