KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.

KBR is seeking an RF engineer to support one of our government customers.The RF engineer will be required to provide expertise to the the Government in the design, performance, and acquisition of a major program. The job is in a new program office that is working on a challenging schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute characterization of RF signals for inclusion in automated signal databases.

  • Supports major milestones, technical, and testing events by review of requirements and test documents then reviewing the performance and testing results.

  • Advises the Government on success or failure of the test and design.

  • Responsible for supervision of contractor design, performance testing, analysis, and verification.

  • Participates in design reviews and advise the Government on performance and design risks.

  • Performs on a team that oversees all aspects of design and build of the RF mission payload.

Work Environment:

  • Location: On-site

  • Travel Requirements: >10-20% within the United States

  • Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Active/Current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

  • 14+ Years of relevant experience with a BS in Engineering, Scientific, or Technical discipline or 12+ Years of relevant experience with a MS in Engineering, Scientific, or Technical discipline or 9+ Years of relevant experience with a PhD in Engineering, Scientific, or Technical discipline.

  • Experience with the system design trade process, assessing system design options, analyzing mission requirements, monitoring system development, test development/execution.

  • Experience in design and evaluation of RF HW design Experience with Customer mission programs and enterprise.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience with Customer space and RF systems acquisition and/or sustainment.

  • Understanding RF systems engineering, acquisition, and operations best practices.

  • 3+ years experience with Customer space and RF systems acquisition and/or sustainment.

  • 3+ years experience with RF hardware design.
