Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Data Science Specialist to support advanced analytics and data modeling across medium to large datasets. This role emphasizes data cleaning and visualization, Neo4j graph database technologies, and the ability to develop solutions using one or more programming languages (e.g., Python/Java). You’ll also work in a high-security, cloud-based environment (classified) and collaborate using modern development practices.
- Clean and preprocess medium to large datasets to ensure accuracy, usability, and reliability.
- Visualize and analyze data using appropriate tools and statistical/analytical methods.
- Develop and optimize Neo4j graph database solutions, including:
- Writing efficient Cypher queries
- Modeling relationships and graph structures to support analytics/use cases
- Develop software components in at least one programming language (e.g., Python or Java).
- Work within cloud infrastructure in a high-security environment (classified), following security and compliance requirements.
- Use software virtualization tools such as Docker to support reproducible development and deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics outcomes and operational improvements.
- Maintain documentation for datasets, queries, visualizations, and developed solutions.
- (Desired) Contribute within Agile development frameworks and iterative planning cycles
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with relevant Polygraph
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated experience cleaning, visualizing medium to large data sets.
- Knowledge of and experience with Neo4j Graph database technologies and cypher query language
- Experience developing at least 1 or more programming languages, like Python, Java
- Understanding of Cloud infrastructure in High security environment (classified)
- Experience operating with modern software virtualization tools, like Docker,
- Desired: Agile development frameworks
- Desired: Experience visualizing data in Tableau

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.EEO
