Closure Technologies is seeking a Lead Frontend Developer to support a mission-critical geospatial program in Chantilly, VA. The developer will be the sole frontend engineer on the team, requiring someone with a strong sense of ownership over the code base.
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Strong experience with Vue.js in production environments
- Proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and component-based UI architecture
- Experience with Vuetify or similar UI frameworks
- Hands-on experience with geospatial or mapping libraries such as:
- OpenLayers
- Turf.js
- GeoLib
- Geodesy
- Ability to work independently as the sole frontend developer on a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other frameworks such as React or Angular and ability to quickly ramp in Vue
- Playwright or other end-to-end testing frameworks
- CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
- Experience building high-performance, data-heavy user interfaces
